Welcome to the Listening Post for the Apple Capital Loop Trail.
This Listening Post site highlights the cultural and natural history of the trail, including stories about how this trail was established. The whole 10-mile long loop trail was completed in October, 1994. The entire trail currently involves these managing agencies: Chelan County PUD; Washington State Parks; Eastmont Metro Parks; Washington State Department of Transportation; City of East Wenatchee; City of Wenatchee Parks Department; Douglas County; and Wenatchee Reclamation District.
This Listening Post site is designed to bring people together around the story of the Apple Capital Loop Trail — a success story we are proud to share. It’s a story grounded in the cultural and natural history of this place — the seasonal rhythms that shape our lives here. And, it’s a story about possibilities and what can happen when people say “what if,” and then work together to accomplish their dream.
See the Apple Capital Loop Trail timeline and map.
