This Listening Post site highlights the cultural and natural history of the trail, including stories about how this trail was established. The whole 10-mile long loop trail was completed in October, 1994. The entire trail currently involves these managing agencies: Chelan County PUD; Washington State Parks; Eastmont Metro Parks; Washington State Department of Transportation; City of East Wenatchee; City of Wenatchee Parks Department; Douglas County; and Wenatchee Reclamation District.
This Listening Post site is designed to bring people together around the story of the Apple Capital Loop Trail — a success story we are proud to share. It’s a story grounded in the cultural and natural history of this place — the seasonal rhythms that shape our lives here. And, it’s a story about possibilities and what can happen when people say “what if,” and then work together to accomplish their dream.
Whether you live here or are just visiting you are part of the story of this place. We hope you will share some of your story so we can better understand your connection to the Wenatchee Valley. Please “sign” the trail user register and share information about your visit to the Wenatchee Valley at the links to Welcome and Share Your Story on the Apple Capital Loop Trail page at the Listening Post Network website.
