SUMMARY

The Data Services Manager is responsible for assisting the Business QA Director in managing the Data Operations department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage the development and implementation of data service solutions to meet business/client requirements.
• Oversee the status of daily data operations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to data service staff and review their performance to accelerate data service delivery.
• Assist with the design and implementation of operational processes and automation within data center implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Previous management/supervisor experience, with previous management/supervisory experience in a healthcare data center preferred.
• Analytical thinking – the ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
• Ability to translate technical information into practical terms for different audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, determine root cause, and determine workable solutions in an effective manner.
• Ability to assist in the development of staff members’ problem-solving skills.
• Business requirements analysis, and/or structured system testing background beneficial, but not required.
• Familiarity with reading file specifications a plus

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires sitting, standing, occasional light to medium lifting, and the ability to operate office machinery such as copiers and fax machines.
