Job description
HOURS: 7am-3:30PM
PAY: Up to $43.00/hr DOE PLUS 1.5 X straight time pay rate for hours over 40/week.
LOCATION: Rock Island, IL
DURATION: Long term
REQUIREMENTS
Min. 2 years mechanical design experience (ideally relative to tool/fixture design). Should be proficient in design of sheet metal / weldments / machined parts.
Proficient with CREO CAD software (may accept proficiency in other packages such as Solidworks, Inventor, etc… IF overall design experience is very strong)
4 year engineering degree preferred. Will consider qualified AAS candidates. Candidate should be able to perform basic engineering calculations relative to stress, deflection, free-body diagrams, etc….
Strong mechanical aptitude including good understanding of general machine shop procedures and practices.
Good communication/interpersonal skills required.
MUST BE US CITIZEN
