The Cafe Supervisor is an entry level management team member designed for individuals to begin expanding their work knowledge and supervisory responsibilities. The Café Supervisor will lead the day-to-day foodservice operation with emphasis on team member and guest satisfaction. They will provide leadership, support, motivation and development of team members creating a positive environment that encourages ownership and accountability providing a quality guest experience. This role will monitor and ensure exceptional service and food quality and presentation. They will work with the Cafe Manager and CEO to provide a seamless Guest Experience while meeting or exceeding financial goals. Ensure operational compliance to Kool Beanz LLC Standards with adherence to State of Alabama and local Food Safety Standards. Cafe Supervisors will act as a liaison between management and the staff, bringing the concerns and problems of the staff to the attention of management and communicating management’s goals and decisions, and Company policies and procedures to the staff.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Recruiting, training, and supervising café staff.

• Develops and implements café policies and procedures

• Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence.

• Manages and motivates the café team

• Trains new employees and provides ongoing training for all café staff

• Acts as a liaison between the café and all other departments, communicating

• relevant information to the café staff as needed

• Ensuring that all café expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs.

• Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.

• Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed.

• Resolving customer complaints regarding product quality and customer service.

• Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback.

• Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers.

• Other duties as required

Café Supervisor Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary

• Bachelor's degree or certification in business administration or business management is preferred.

• Proven supervisor experience in the hospitality industry.

• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

• Strong business acumen.

• Exemplary supervisory skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Must be able to pass a Background check
