Headquartered in Tyler, TX, Park Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center provides management services to 32 healthcare facilities, which employ a total of more than 4,200 employees. As a member of Park Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center ’s Corporate Payroll team, the Payroll Specialist will process bi-weekly payroll for Park Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center supported skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.

This position will report to the Payroll Manager and Controller and is located on site at our corporate office in Tyler, TX.

Key Accountabilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll cycle: responsible for the end-to-end payroll process to include, but not limited to receive, load, audit all external & internal files, receive, load, audit internal files, import time files, complete, settle and close payroll
• Ability to think through the process and determine if calculations are reasonable and accurate
• Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple projects. Highly organized with deadline sensitive assignments

Requirements / Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll experience

• Experience with Time and Attendance management system (preferably Kronos) is required.

• Moderate to Advance Excel skills

• Exceptional Customer Service Skills

• Ability to research and resolve payroll requests in a timely manner
