Rate: $28 – 33 / hour

Job Summary
This role supports the company’s sales efforts. The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing new, existing, and lapsed service customers. This includes soliciting and booking new service appointments, as well as the successful execution of our service and parts projects. This position involves direct contact and detailed communication with outside vendors, customers, and AES staff by serving as a liaison to those entities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of marketing programs for company’s products and services.
  • First point of contact for all service and parts inquiries from customers.
  • Work closely with our field technicians to review and prepare for service jobs. Conduct service job review meetings.
  • Coordination of service jobs, including ordering and shipping materials and rental equipment.
  • Prepare service schedules.
  • Prepare estimates for parts and service.
  • Review and approve timesheets.
  • Interface directly with customer regarding service and parts jobs. Maintain internal communications and records using company systems and software.
  • Provide service job information and documentation to the Operations Manager in a timely fashion.
  • Regular contact and communication with customers and vendors.
  • Present a professional image to our customers and vendors alike.
  • Prompt follow up with customer to ensure satisfaction with work and product.
  • Support Sales and Operations staff. Attend and participate in Production meetings.
  • Support the Accounting Department with accurate and timely submission of paperwork, including timesheets and billing records, service reports and invoice approval/adjustment.
  • Represent Advance Equipment Sales in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
  • Must be reachable after hours by company-provided cell phone, as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary.

Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five + years’ experience in a sales and service-related industry. Industrial equipment experience a plus.
  • Estimating experience preferred.

B. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn company CRM (Salesforce) and estimating (Sage 100) software.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, to think through and resolve problems.
  • Able to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively on several projects at one time.
  • Professional phone manner.
  • Committed to excellence.
  • Valid driver’s license of insurable quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
