Job summary

Assist with building business by selling, leasing, and marketing for CBRE. While training under an experienced sales professional(s).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists sales professionals in identifying clients and researching connections to turn cold calls into warm calls for potential sales opportunities.

Build business opportunities for sales professionals through cold calling and networking.

Drafts correspondence to existing and hopeful clients. Brings together, prepares and distributes marketing materials.

Compiles property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates and presentations for listing or tenant representative assignments.

Brings together and coordinates materials for transactions such as listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements.

Maintains accurate information on tenants, market availability, and leases in company databases.

Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Real Estate Salesperson license.

Communication skills

Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and detailed service to clients. Optimally present information.

Financial knowledge

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

Reasoning ability

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Problem solving abilities in most situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and Internet research skills.

Scope of responsibility

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and target dates. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.


CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sales Assistant position is $60,000 annually [or $28.85 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sales Assistant position is $75,000 annually [or $36.06 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
