Role Description:*
Along with the rest of the product team, the primary goal of product management is to develop an impactful roadmap, ensure the timely delivery of projects on that roadmap, support & improve existing features, and maximize the adoption of all features by supporting internal teams.

Product Manager will work directly with all departments and all products to ensure timely delivery of detailed project specs to engineering, provide adequate information to marketing for product related content, inform and equip sales leaders to effectively sell supported solutions, and maintain 2-way communication with customer success to support product features and monitor customer feedback.

This Product Manager should be especially well equipped to handle projects tied to YCharts reporting capabilities (providing financial advisors with visuals for discussing investment strategies with their clients) and enterprise level configurations. This means having a firm grasp on regulations governing such reports/firms and ideally experience working with such reports either at another fintech firm or within a company offering financial advisory services.

Product Roadmap:*

• Day to day management of ongoing projects including documenting progress and assigning/completing non-engineering tasks to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and deliver project specifications to applicable parties including design team and engineering team.
• Maintain inventory of projects that is prioritized and accessible by engineering for execution.
• Document and maintain information gathered from internal and external stakeholders as it relates to feature requests, product feedback, and data needs.

Strategic Analyses:*

• Maintain expertise on industry regulations and requirements from governing bodies such as FINRA and the SEC, especially relating to how Financial Advisors can use data and reports with their clients.
• Conduct interviews with current and prospective clients to gather specific feedback on product features and roadmap items.
• Monitor implementation of features amongst customers and report instrumentation data.
• Perform regular win/loss analyses and stay abreast of churn analysis
• As requested, serve as an industry and product expert, sharing knowledge internally (e.g. Starbucks and Studies) and externally (trade shows, business development meetings)

Sales/Marketing/Influencer Enablement:*

• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations internally for sales and customer success teams of new features and functionality.
• Educate and collect feedback from stakeholders throughout the development process and into launch.
• Coordinate with sales and customer success team members to ensure smooth rollout of features and to collect enhancement requests/bug reports.
