Shift Schedule:
Saturday: 10:00am to 7:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am to 7:00pm
Monday 4:00pm to 9:00pm

Job Summary:
The Receptionist a.k.a Concierge is the first line of contact with our guest, delivering and providing exceptional customer service. This position represents the dealership in a professional manner at all time, assisting guest with their needs and directing them appropriately.

Essential Functions:
  • Greets the customers with enthusiasm and professionalism while always providing the highest level of exceptional customer service.
  • Operates multi-line phone system in a professional manner to obtain appropriate information and address the caller’s needs.
  • Develops knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquires.
  • Routes all incoming calls as needed, using the caller's name whenever possible
  • Assists clients/members in booking appointments.
  • Minimizes the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
  • Screens incoming calls as requested by managers.
  • Takes thorough messages and provides basic information to callers, and maximizes usage of voice mail system.
  • Communicates with all callers in an efficient manner, minimizing the time they are put on hold.
  • Keeps record of who is on hold and who the caller was holding for if the call comes back to the operator.
Non-Essential Functions:
  • Keeps reception desk, retail, drink and surrounding areas in an orderly and clean appearance.
  • Notifies telephone company maintenance department of any problems with the phone system.
  • May perform other duties as requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Experience using a Multi-line telephone is a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Ability to perform work safely
  • Works well without supervision.
  • Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge or ability to use internet software; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
  • Intermediate language capabilities such as the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Basic math capabilities such as the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Intermediate reasoning abilities such as the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is, regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, frequently required to talk or hear, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally required to stand and walk.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

All employees must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed and professional appearance per Company standards.

Other:
  • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the automotive industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the dealership. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
  • Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Company rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facility. Employees who violate Company rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
