About us

Good Story Vacations is a creative travel agency, specializing in Disney destinations, founded and run by artists. We are a collaborative community of creative, personable, and organized individuals who are passionate about the Arts. Our desire to tell a good story through art is all about communicating with thoughtfulness and honesty. We do that with travel planning as well. Our approach is to listen to our clients, connect them to their dream Disney destination, and give them the knowledge they need to create their own good stories. We’re also here to help artists, performers, and creatives by providing the training to become a Disney Vacation Planner so that they can support their passion for the Arts, and create some good stories of their own.

With a pent-up demand for leisure travel, Good Story Vacations is seeking Disney-loving artists, performers, and creatives interested in an additional career as an Independent Travel Agent specializing in Disney destinations—also known as a Disney Vacation Planner.

About the Job

• Independent contractor (1099)
• Commission-based position with a competitive split
• Work remotely on your own schedule
• No contract term
• No start-up, annual, or monthly agency fees
• No travel agent experience is required

• Applicant must have a minimum of three Disney destination visits in the last five years and must demonstrate knowledge of our Disney destination offerings to provide clients with personalized recommendations (Walt Disney World® Resort; Disneyland® Resort; Disney Cruise Line; AULANI, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i; Adventures by Disney®)
• Applicant must be a strong communicator, be able to fulfill requests, and reach deadlines set by Good Story Vacations
• Applicant must be committed to generating their own leads, developing their business, and expanding their professional network
• Applicant should be personally engaged to learn more about travel destinations, products, and policies in order to better serve their guests
• Applicant must be a detail-oriented individual—our Vacation Planners are responsible for booking and guiding a guest’s vacation from beginning to end, including, but not limited to, resort stay, tickets, insurance, transportation, equipment rental, and special events
