The Home Office is here to make the UK safer. Border Force is a Law Enforcement arm of the Home Office with primary responsibility for UK Border Security, including counter terrorism, immigration and customs matters.

The Clandestine Entrant Civil Penalty Team (CECPT) is responsible for administering the Civil Penalty Regime targeting drivers and hauliers who have had clandestine entrants detected in their vehicles. The team’s role is to review all evidence available, determine whether a penalty is due and how much.

Because of the work we do and the places we work Border Force staff can operate in sometimes difficult and pressurised environments. For this role team working is important and making well balanced decisions is key.

This is predominantly an office based role but will include some attendance at ports and potentially an element of outside working.
