Liquid I.V. is a 360-degree wellness company based in El Segundo, CA, created to fuel life’s adventures. Our product line features great-tasting, non-GMO electrolyte drink mixes utilizing Cellular Transport Technology (CTT)® to enhance rapid absorption of water and other key ingredients into the bloodstream—helping consumers feel better, faster.
Our products are stocked in over 30,000 doors across the country, including the world’s leading specialty, big box, and online retailers such as Costco, Walmart, Target, Amazon, and many more. POSITION SUMMARY

The VP of People and Culture is a Leadership Team (LT) role that oversees all aspects of human resources, real estate/facilities and culture and ensures that LIV keeps our people at the heart of what we do. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for bringing a people-centric, values-based, growth-oriented approach to our people strategies to ensure that our business has the capabilities needed to scale.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

Functions and duties of this role include:

  • Strategic Advisor to the CEO and business partner to LT to develop and deliver the overall company strategy and an ambitious people strategy to support it.
  • Provide strategic partnership and coaching to fellow LT members to ensure our team is effective, collaborative and living the LIV Guiding Principles and Operational Excellence framework.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of organizational designs and associated change management for LIV to scale to a 1BN business
  • Establish and design the development of LIV values that align with the Company's Guiding Principles to optimize and enhance the people strategy and employer brand.
  • Design and deliver a cutting edge, high performing culture that embraces LIV's unique entrepreneurial drive and commitment to a Net Positive brand.
  • Collaborate with parent company, H&W Collective, for successful international expansion, co-creating and implementing key capabilities, resources and ways of working.
  • Develop best in class recruitment, talent development and total reward strategies to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Bring to life learning and development as well as succession planning to meet workforce plans and provide meaningful advancement for our people.
  • Lead LIV’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion that delivers meaningful, sustained changed to LIV where varied backgrounds and life experiences are celebrated.
  • Own and manage real estate procurement and buildout.
  • Act as a champion of our Change The World Mission and thinking to continually improve and evolve our social and environment impact.
  • Partner with Unilever H&W Collective to identify and implement ideas that benefit both parties and amplify LIV’s reach and message.
  • Own and curate company communications to ensure they hit the target with style and grace.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in leading the People/HR function in a fast-growing, values-driven company; CPG experience preferred.
  • Ability to build and implement talent management and compensation programs that attract and retain key talent and scale with the business.
  • DE&I Experience.
  • Preference for international experience.
  • Superior communication skills - listening, verbal and written; ability to learn and influence Highly aware of the cultural cues embedded in company communications.
  • Highly transparent; ability to say what needs to be said and to affect long term change.
  • Strong experience managing people operations and delivering on the brilliant basics of HR compliance and functionality; a progressive approach to people ops and benefits.
  • A bias toward “yes” and a mindset of “what would it take?”.
  • Dedication to personal and professional accountability - you ask questions, learn quickly and find solutions.
  • You are curious – you possess the drive to always be learning and growing, professionally and personally.
  • Warm and friendly personality.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office environment with flexibility for industry events. Most responsibilities of this job will be handled from the office. Travel: 10% of the time
