The Job Description
The VP of Sales will oversee the sales and marketing departments including in-house sale reps, independent sales reps, and manage key accounts.

Goals
The position’s numerous responsibilities are listed below:

Key Account Management (60%)

  • You will be responsible for managing large, key accounts as your own. Frequent communications, meetings and sales will be expected. You are expected to regularly seek and open accounts.

Managing Sales Teams (30%)

  • You will be directly responsible for sales and account management in all territories in North America. This includes managing the in-house sales team and all 3rd party sales reps. This includes, but is not limited to, hiring and interviewing new reps, monitoring and reporting performance metrics, communicating sales and marketing strategies, point person for questions and all communications. You are expected to run monthly commission reports and payments to reps.

Sales Planning and Strategy (5%)

  • High level sales strategy and annual planning and personally executing these plans
  • Annual budgeting for sales and marketing
  • Inventory Planning
  • You will be responsible for analysis and forecasting on Cirque inventory and purchases.
  • Product Development
  • You will assist with high level planning for product development, new styles, and new markets. You will also be responsible for running reports and analysis on well performing styles and poor performing styles to help build the assortment for future catalogs.

Marketing (5%)

  • You will manage the marketing team that assists and markets for the company. High level direction, planning and marketing strategy will be expected.

The Job’s Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • 7+ years wholesale sales experience with decorated apparel
  • 3+ years managing a sales team
  • 7+ years direct sales experience
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Great eye for design and creativity
  • Denver, CO based– we are currently not considering candidates re-locating.
  • Quick learner, great attitude, team player

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience working with a small company

Details

  • Compensation: ~$150K (Salary + Comissions)
  • Benefits: Health in 2024, 3% Match of IRA
