We are a nationwide healthcare staffing agency (Ascendo Resources) looking for a reliable RN to care for individuals in a Long Term Care setting. We're currently partnered with a well-respected a long term care facility in Newberry, MI that is in need of seasoned RNs with geriatric care experience. This client is working with a real sense of urgency in order to fill these positions, so they're willing to pay TOP DOLLAR to get qualified candidates in ASAP.

Schedule:

12 Hour Days

Benefits/Compensation:

W2 Position

80/20 plan through Cigna - covers Health, Vision, and Dental!

• Hotel/Housing stipend will be incorporated into rates if you are traveling outside of 50 miles

**weekly pay**

$60/hr x 40 hrs = $2,400.00/week (based on 40 hour work week - paid out weekly via direct deposit every Friday morning working under contract)

Responsibilities:

• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Skills:

• Proven experience as RN

-Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a -multidisciplinary team

• Familiarity with LTC health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry, charting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress

Credentials:

• Active RN license (MI or multistate)
• Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care experience (must be recent - at least 2 years preferred)
