Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician! The Trailer Technician is responsible for timely repair and maintenance of medium duty fleet trailer vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $28-$35 per hour, depending on experience!
*** SIGN ON BONUS - AND - New Technician Incentive Plan (Bonused on every paycheck)***

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm (overtime available, if desired)

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like:
· Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
· Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to trailers
· Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
· Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
· Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- At least 2 years’ experience in trailer maintenance.
- Diesel or tractor experience is a plus.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
- Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
