Job title- Technician (100% field service)

Location- Charlotte, NC 28269

Proposed workdays and times: [Friday to Tuesday, 2PM to 10:30PM]

Training hours may differ. ***Subject to change with some variation of possible rotation, weekends, nights, OT. Approx. 35 minutes travel range. Primary work location Charlotte, NC 28269. 100% travel within territory assigned.

How Much Travel- 100% travel within territory assigned. (Approx. 50 miles (35 minutes travel range) on daily to support their services within territory assigned). You will be driving your personal vehicle the first 90 day of the apprentice program to multiple job sites. Fuel expenses will be provided.

Job Type- This is Temporary (Leased Worker) position, but opportunity to become a fulltime employee once you successfully complete the 90-day apprenticeship program.

Travel to/from assigned territories and company facilities, including during inclement weather is essential. You will be driving your personal vehicle the first 90 day of the apprentice program to multiple job sites.

Qualification:

· Familiarity with computers and a variety of consumer communications devices, such as smart phones.

· Repairing electro-mechanical equipment in the field. Having experience with software.

· Service experience or electromechanical experience is a plus

· 0-2 years’ experience break/fix POS, financial ATM, and kiosk equipment field engineer

· 0-2 years’ experience to repair Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics equipment

You are responsible for: -

Performing maintenance on ATMs (e.g., card reader, printer, reset and test devices, etc.). Electromechanical repair. -Performing basic installation functions (e.g., set up and test equipment, pulling cables, mounting devices, installing locks) -Performing technical fixes such as clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc. -Inspecting products for correct operation and resolving noted issues and/or escalating according to established procedures -Prioritizing and planning service calls -Works within a team environment, completes all required paperwork, manages, and maintains service parts inventory -Contacting the customer with the estimated time of arrival -Working with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and understanding of product functionality -Following key/alarm/combination control processes in assigned area of responsibility

Physical & Technical Requirements:

This is a physical job, so you must have the ability to do the following:

  • A valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company-required standards.
  • Ability to successfully pass background and drug testing
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in close quarters within and around the equipment.

In the Field:

Every day brings something different, Field Techs should be comfortable in different settings, for example:

  • Inside banks and retail establishments
  • Outside in all weather conditions, possibly for extended periods of time.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance. The ability to work overtime, weekends, second shifts or participate in an on-call

rotation when scheduled

  • You must be able to work with little supervision and have the ability to apply common sense, experience, and the theory

towards solving and decision making.
