COMPONENT DESIGN/ SALES ENGINEER

Objectives for this position:

  • To provide technical expertise and sales support to the customers and to assist with and train new sales personnel in identifying and securing business at both existing and potential new customers.
  • To assist in product development engineering in the test/evaluation of proposed design improvements and to perform return material analysis of field returns.
  • To develop and document test procedures/methods/reports to meet customers’ reliability and quality requirements as well as perform various electrical, mechanical and environmental tests as required in supporting their product development needs.

POSITION/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS, EE or Associated Degree with min. of 2 years of experience in the electronics industry.
  • Experience in the passive component business a plus.
  • Strong Communication, Presentation, Organizational and Negotiation skills (oral and written)
  • Must have the ability to assess customers' technical objectives and solve problems.
  • Experience in working in the LAN environment and in the MS Office program.
  • Travel is required to attend customer and supplier meetings.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
