Zendar is hiring a Technical Recruiter / Sourcer (part-time in Berkeley CA)

About Zendar:

Zendar is creating a high-resolution radar imaging system that has resolution similar to lidar, allowing cars to see in inclement weather. We are a team of electrical, mechanical, software engineers and researchers developing the next generation radar technology to enable robust all weather autonomy. Zendar has its headquarter in Berkeley CA and an office in Germany and France.

Job Description:

This is an ideal role for someone who is excited about owning the Recruiting/Sourcing function for a global high-tech startup with rapid growth in the US and Europe. You will drive the sourcing process with plenty of opportunity to apply your own personal style while delivering an outstanding candidate experience and bringing exceptional talent to our company.

This includes:

• Proactively drive sourcing activities, develop talent pipelines and shortlists for the US, Germany, and the France location
  
• Effectively manage communication with candidates
• Pre-screen qualified candidates over the phone
• Handle our LinkedIn, Glassdoor and other social media accounts for recruitment activities

Required Qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Customer Success, or HR
• Big plus if experience with a tech startup
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and time management
• Professionalism and the ability to command respect and trust
• Ability to work responsibly with sensitive and confidential information
• Must be a proactive self-starter who is well organized and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable switching between working collaboratively as part of a team and working autonomously as needed
