Responsibilities
- Assist in the training of technical problem solving.
- Mentor and coach others in using the DMAIC process to complete projects.
- Engage project sponsors regularly throughout life of project.
- Apply project management methods to manage independent six sigma projects.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of processes to measure six sigma problem solving performance.
- Schedule and execute project gate reviews.
- Verify project risk and impact to performance, cost, quality, yield, sigma, etc.
- Work on efforts for creating and maintaining group management tools for projects and people.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of equivalent experience in Lean or Six Sigma Project environment required.
- Teaching and/or coaching experience is required.
- Exposure to Enterprise Management Systems such as ISO is required.
- Experience with pareto principle, multi-vari analysis, hypothesis testing, probability, DOE, and Value Stream Mapping is preferred.
- Exceptional self-direction, system style thinking, and experience with project management is necessary.
- Strong skills in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exposure to Statistical software such as Minitab is preferred.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% to various company locations.
