The Export and Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for fulfillment and shipping of international orders, as well as preparing export documentation for these shipments. The Export and Shipping Coordinator will also be expected to assist with fulfillment and shipping of some domestic orders, coordinating stock levels with production staff, inventory, and other occasional as needed tasks in our warehouse. The candidate will be working at PMT headquarters in Chanhassen, MN, 8:30am – 5pm, M-F.

DUTIES (include but not limited to):

• Fulfill international orders by picking and packing them
• Ship international orders utilizing either courier services or freight forwarders
• Prepare export documentation for international shipments
• Assist with picking, packing, or shipping domestic orders as needed
• Coordinate with various persons within production to ensure orders are made in a timely manner if the product is not available in stock
• Keep track of international backorders
• Perform inventory of finished goods, and assist production managers with other inventory tasks
• Assist the receiving department as needed
• Assist with other tasks within the warehouse as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• High school education or GED certificate
• Strong ability to multitask and high attention to detail
• Ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using the internet
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs
• 1-2 years’ experience in shipping or fulfillment related position
• Positive attitude and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong ability to make decisions with minimum supervision
• Good understanding of shipping methods and services (courier vs. freight forwarder)
• Previous experience with international shipping preferred
• Experience preparing export documentation is a plus
