Position Summary:
As the Process Sanitation Worker, you will provide general operational and downtime sanitation. Position breaks line operators as required. Will provide training to others as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Cleans and lubricates cutters using proper lock out / tag out procedures.
2.
Collects line samples and conducts tests.
3.
Transports line waste to dump disposal area.
4.
Uses approved chemicals to sanitize areas.
5.
Uses high pressure and high volume water hoses to clean surfaces.
6.
Responsible for daily and downtime sanitation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training
- Mechanical aptitude; computer, language, and mathematical skills
- Ability to learn the basic functions of other jobs throughout the plant
Physical Demand:
Constant: Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently: Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Occasionally: Sit and taste or smell.
