Safety Compliance Clerk

Shoreline Transportation LLC has a great opportunity for you! Interested in structuring and building up the Safety department with a thriving trucking company?

Shoreline Transportation LLC, a fast-growing regional and local truck carrier, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Safety Compliance Clerk. Shoreline is looking for highly motivated individuals with a proven track record of success in safety. This position will report directly to the Safety Manager ensuring the company remains in DOT compliance within the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation guidelines.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Recruiting and Safety departments in on-boarding of new drivers, including entries in the ATS (Tenstreet), Innovative & Omnitracs, DQF files, driver fuel cards, driver badges, driver licenses and medical cards.

· Maintain Driver files.

· Audit new hire driver files.

· Oversee driver Med Certification exams, Random Drug and Alcohol testing and licensing in accordance with state federal, and local laws.

· Manage the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse information.

· Process incoming employment verifications.

· Process terminations and deactivate driver files.

· Responsible for all Company license and registration needs.

· Conducts and maintains all IFTA reporting.

· Order necessary supplies for training.

· Assist with Driver recruiting and other safety requirements as requested.

Qualifications/Skills:

· Highly proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Tenstreet (or similar ATS), Innovative and Omnitracs.

· Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize

· Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

· Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
