RN / Nursing / Admin / UAS / Direct Hire - Partially work from home / $56.50 per hour (New York State)

Med-Scribe, Inc. is a healthcare staffing service working with a team of extraordinary nurses throughout New York State on major health projects for over 30 years. Join our team of heroic nurses helping to connect those in the community to health services they need!

This is hybrid position, with approximately half of schedule assessments available to be completed via video conference. When a patient requests an in person assessment, the RN will need to travel to their location. We expect approximately 60% of assessments to be remote. Some of our nurses have been on these projects for over 6 years and will tell you that they enjoy the benefits, flexibility, autonomy, and ability to complete their work in a 7-8-hour work day.

We will consider both full- and part-time candidates with a variety of schedules Monday through Saturday.

Full time candidates receive between 35-37.5 hours weekly, working Monday - Friday between 9AM-5PM, and will train full time for a period of 3-4 weeks. There is the potential for overtime (after working 40 hours).

Part time candidates must be available to complete 7 assessments per week, for approximately 15-20 hours scheduled, and are able to request particular days and times of availability. Training for part time candidate will be part time hours for a period of 3-4 weeks.

Please note, a conflict of interest agreement will be required for all RNs – which disallows employment with other MLTC or home care agencies while employed with our UAS project.

As a UAS Assessor you are an unbiased evaluator, ensuring patients in need are granted the care they deserve! In this role, you will complete an interview with a patient and finalize a UAS assessment to determine eligibility for Long Term Care services. You will be scheduled for a maximum of 2-3 initial and/or reassessment appointments daily within your travel area (depending on your preference).This is a direct hire placement onto Med-Scribe’s growing UAS Assessor team, with Health and Vision insurance available.

A laptop, cellphone, and additional work equipment will be provided to you.

Candidates must reside and be licensed in New York State!

Salary: $56.50 per hour depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is highly preferred.
• At least 2 years of home care experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
• At least 1 year of UAS experience in the field accepted in lieu of home care experience.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
