DeLallo's is seeking candidate for store positions at our Jeannette, PA Italian Marketplace to provide an elevated customer experience that has come to be expected. We are seeking candidates for full-time opportunities and that have availability on the weekends and during the week. Store hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00a to 8:00p and Saturday & Sunday, 8:00a to 6:00p. Candidates must have availability to be scheduled to work during the hours the store is open.

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Bakers

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Mix, bake and decorative cakes and pastries.
• Lift heavy sacks of flour and other baking items.
• Operate baking machinery.
• Maintain and sanitize baking utensils, tools, implements and machinery.
• Adhere to food safety laws and standards while preparing products.

Bakery Counter:

• Communicates with customers and co-workers on products and prices.
• Weighs certain items.
• Prices customer selections using label machine and calculators.
• Demonstrates salesmanship on a routine basis.
• Answers telephone to communicate with internal and external customers.
• Retrieves product from cooler to fill displays.
• Stocks and replenishes counters with product.
• Rotates merchandise for freshness.
• Checks merchandise for outdated product; sorts newly received merchandise.
• Cleans and maintains work-station.

Kitchen / Deli Prep:

• Operation of kitchen equipment to include stoves, oven, fryers, slicers and various other tools
• Preparation of raw ingredients by cutting, chopping, slicing and other kitchen knife skills.
• Learning and implementing the recipes for sandwiches, salads, entrees and catering orders.
• Work with focus on detail and efficiency
• Maintain and sanitize utensils, tools, implements and machinery.
• Adhere to food safety laws and standards while preparing products.

Pack Out Team Member

• Prepare, package and tag for retail sale DELALLO Kitchen grab and go offerings and maintain the retail case.
• Ensure ALL products in Grab & Go case meet or exceed DELALLO standards for quality
• Offer a superior guest experience via premium products that require a keen eye for detail and passion for excellent food.
• Count daily inventory of on hand product and complete production sheets
• Maintain Grab & Go case by filling, fronting and keeping products properly rotated
• Pull products from case as required by Shelf Life Standards SOP at end of night
• Communicate product needs to kitchen prep team before end of shift to set up the next day’s success
• Produce items as needed
• Maintain temperature, sweep and shrink logs
