Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient treatment services, adolescents and adults, partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. We are now seeking a Unit Registered Nurse to join our team! This is a night shift opening 7p-7a

The Registered Nurse, is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. The Registered Nurse, is in charge of the unit activities for each shift, including supervision of the Mental Health Technicians on the unit.

Registered Nurse Job Duties:

• completes and documents the comprehensive nursing assessment within (8) hours of admission;
• Acts as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team in planning care by providing input to the treatment team process;
• Prepares patients for discharge;
• Records and transcribes physicians written and telephone orders accurately;
• Other duties as assigned

Registered Nurse Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing;
• Prefer one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer six (6) months in psychiatric nursing;
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida;
• Current CPR Certification required;
• Communication;
