Quality and Resident Engineers Needed

Job Summary:

Our client in Dearborn, MI. is looking for several Quality and Resident Engineers. These are contract positions.

What you will do:

• Lead STA representative between external suppliers and clients' VO (Vehicle Operations) and PVT (Plant Vehicle Team).
• Facilitate Critical Supplier Process to drive supplier site QR performance improvement.
• Participate in Whiteboard (Post-OKTB), VRT Meetings, Daily Plant Quality (FCPA / Warranty / PIC Room) Meeting, as needed on an exception basis.
• Drive resolution of external supplier process (SP) warranty concerns through supplier notification and driving containment action(s) at the responsible supplier.

Basics:

• 2+ years of Quality Engineer or Resident Engineer experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience with interior, exterior or underbody
• Automotive experience
• Be proficient in English (working with teams – globally)
• Proficient at problem solving: Green Belt Certified, Black Belt Certification preferred

• Master's Degree in Engineering
