Bayer is seeking highly motivated individuals to work as members of the Trait Pipeline Delivery team as Production Operator (9 Month Contract _ September-May). These positions will assist with our seed manufacturing processes at our Urbandale, IA location as well as our field and lab operations in Huxley, IA. These individuals will be critical to our ability to deliver timely data to our pipeline and will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge proprietary research automation. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support our automation manufacturing processes by monitoring automation, troubleshooting equipment, and managing inventory at our Urbandale, IA location

• Support our automation manufacturing processes by monitoring automation, troubleshooting equipment, and managing inventory at our Urbandale, IA location
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. as well as bend, reach, sit or stand for extended hours
• Perform safety inspections and submit hazard recognitions and safety suggestions as needed
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure continuous improvement
• Assist in other projects and perform other duties as requested
• This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of extension.

WHO YOU ARE

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Utilize Microsoft Office software and able to learn internal software programs
• Ability to take constructive feedback and coaching
• Ability to adhere to all compliance and safety policies
• Willingness to work irregular and overtime hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain production or Manufacturing discipline
• High throughput production experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Agriculture Research or Production experience
