Job Location: REMOTE - Must be located in the Dallas area and can work remotely covering customers throughout the region

An established IT Solutions Provider partnered with Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, VMware & NetApp is currently seeking an experienced Data Center SME / Principal Pre-sales Solutions Architect to join the team remotely in the greater Dallas area. This opportunity allows you to work remotely from home when not in front of customers. This role will act as a High Level Data Center Pre-sales resource to customers throughout the assigned territory.

What You Will Be Doing
- Perform as the Lead / Principal Pre Sales Solutions Architect while also being the subject matter expert in Data Center & Cloud Solutions
- Provide technical support and consultation to account executives using your expertise of data center solutions
- Identify new opportunities within Data Center environment
- Design solutions for customers and document the scope of projects
- Communicate with customers regarding NetApp, Cisco and VMWare technologies among others
- Assist in driving overall revenue and increase profitability
- Align the business needs of customers and prospects to a technical solution and presenting the solution the customer in terms of business benefits
What You Need for this Position
- 8-10+ years of pre-sales experience focused in Data Center & Cloud Solutions
- Strong experience with Data Center Design
- Building BOMs and SOWs
- Any relevant and active Data Center Certifications are a plus
- Data Storage, Data Center Networking, Virtualization, compute and cloud solutions experience
- Proven experience of successful solution selling
- Proven presentation and sales skills
- Excellent communication, documentation and customer facing skills
