Since 1985, Asian Fine Foods has been one of the premier importers of Asian grocery products. Our customers encompass retail supermarkets, restaurant supply, and wholesalers across the United States and Mexico. We are a growing, essential business in a recession-resistant industry, and we are looking to scale our team to propel us into new markets.

We are seeking an Office Manager who is experienced in operations at companies with 25 or more people and has accounting and bookkeeping skills. Because many of our import documentation and product information is in Chinese, the ability to read and write Chinese is a big plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve to tie sales operations, warehouse operations, and logistics operations together in a seamless manner
  • Assist with regular HR duties and manage the recruiting and hiring process
  • Assist with managing product purchasing and maintaining price lists for the product catalog
  • Help with planning sales team promotional and marketing activities.
  • Manage travel plans for sales team and manage trip routing.
  • Maintain company records and make sure local and national permits and regulations are kept up to date
  • Interface with the warehouse to make sure that operations run smoothly
  • Help with accounting and bookkeeping duties.
  • Handle customer orders when sales team is not available and answer customer inquiries.
  • Perform bookkeeping and clerical duties, including AR, AP, and check deposits.

Requirements

  • Four years of experience in an office management environment in a company with 25 or more employees.
  • Bookkeeping experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree
  • Reliable and on-time
  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese is a big plus
