Description:
Performs a full range of housekeeping/grounds worker duties at both the Historical Depot and the Heritage Center. Applicants must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in all buildings. Hauling firewood, roadside clean up, trash removal, follow recycling policy. Other duties as assigned. This is a seasonal spring through Fall, Thursday and Friday at the Historic Depot, Saturday and Sunday at the Heritage Center.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree; or two to four months related experience.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check. Will be required to operate a government motor vehicle, including UTVs as part of their duties, therefore must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable through Grand Portage Reservation auto insurance.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
