TITLE: Middleware Administrator
Location: Hybrid in Southlake, Texas
Compensation Range : $55-$65/hour
ICS, a Korn Ferry company, is hiring a Middleware Administrator, with RedHat Linux environment experience, to join our client's Enterprise Platform Engineering team in Southlake, TX

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, enhance, and deliver BI reports and dashboards that adhere to best practices, and business goals.
- Interacts with business users to understand BI needs and establish commitments to the business.
- Ensures accuracy of reports and dashboards through quality assurance
- Generate data through SQL and other programming languages to develop and automate reports/dashboards at a defined cadence of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually or a completely automated solution with daily updates on data
- Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS Server usage.
- User and group access management and automation.
- Unix/Linux Shell scripting to cover user creation and automation, user and group file management and archival with scheduling and automation. Space management and reporting, and countless functions and tools used for daily system administration and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requests for new control reports and enhancements to existing reports. Research, evaluate and recommend solutions to achieve those requirements.
- Partner with business analyst and business process owners to model, design, develop, code, test, debug, document and implement control reports into the production environment through standard processes.
- Participate in user acceptance testing process to ensure developed report fulfills business requirements
- Provide production support of existing control reports as needed
- Comply with all technical and process controls to ensure a stable and secure production platform
- Responsible for scheduling BI Reports/dashboards and performance tuning
- Prepare data extracts from underlying data lakes/data warehouses for building Reports/dashboards
- Own integration with databases and other middleware systems
- Perform UNIX/LINUX Shell Scripting with app servers
Skills / Experience You Will Need:
- Expertise implementing and supporting platforms on Red Hat Linux operating systems.
- Unix/Linux Scripting and Automation skills utilizing PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, or similar.
- Experience working with relational DB like oracle, SQL Server etc.
- Experience supporting shared platform or "middleware systems such as:
- Enterprise job scheduling platforms such as Atomic/UC4, Control-M, or Tidal.
- FTP scripting or Managed File Transfer platforms such as MoveIT/GoAnywhere/Globalscape.
- Message Queueing platforms such as IBM MQ, Tibco EMS, Rendezvous or similar.
- Administration of Tableau Servers & Tableau front end user support.
- Administration of SAS Servers & supporting app teams on Prod & Non prod environments.
- Strong understanding of Information design for enhancing user interactivity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at all levels in an organization
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Ability to handle multiple projects required
- Ability to explore creative visual design options to enable requirements that are not met by out-of-box capabilities
- Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and learning skills.
