Job Summary:
Reports to the Business Manager and works under the direct supervision of the Physician(s), the Medical Assistant/Clinical Office Coordinator is responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical and office duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, completion of a Medical Assistant course required

Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical/physician's office preferred. 1-3 years Administrative Assistant/Medical Office preferred

Licensure and/or Certification: Graduate of a Medical Assistant / Secretary program preferred, State Certification preferred but not required

Skills:
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with strong ability to multi-task required
Professional communication at all times
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and moderate keyboarding is required. Knowledge of Meditech preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidential information, prioritize daily tasks and answer clinical questions as needed
