OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled Make Ready Technician to join our team. This position will be responsible for preparing apartment units for new residents, ensuring that they are clean, functional, and move-in ready.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

The activities listed here are not all-inclusive; rather, they indicate the types of activities normally performed by this position. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:

Perform various maintenance duties necessary to prepare apartment units for new residents, such as painting, replacing flooring, repairing appliances, and fixing plumbing and electrical systems.

Conduct inspections of units before and after move-outs to identify necessary repairs and replacements.

Work with the property management team to develop a schedule of necessary repairs and maintenance.

Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.

Respond to maintenance requests from residents and the property management team in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

Communicate with the property management team and residents regarding maintenance issues and repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ? High School Diploma or equivalent.

? Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or related field.

? Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

? Ability to use common maintenance tools and equipment.

? Ability to communicate effectively with residents and the property management team.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

? High school diploma or equivalent required.

? Experience in multi-family maintenance.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

? Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

? Basic computer skills.

? Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

? Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings if necessary.
