Job description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Franklin manufacturing facility. Mechanically inclined and a strong background with industrial machines, this person will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our production lines, including conveyors, punch machines, paint-lines etc.

Responsibilities include:

· Hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all facility machinery and equipment

· Hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all process hand tools, including electric drills, saws, grinders, etc.

· Hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility, including, but not limited to, dock doors, locking systems, minor plumbing etc.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all manufacturing equipment

· Accurately document necessary repairs and maintenance scheduling

· Report problems to the facility Supervisor and convey appropriate action to be taken

Qualifications include:

· Mechanically inclined - ability to use common mechanics tools

· A basic welding knowledge

· Willing to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

· Ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for up to 12 hours

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to read and use mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting

Knowledge of Forklift repair is a plus.

· Strong communication skills

Experience/Skills required include:

· 2 -4 years of experience in general machine operation maintenance preferred.

· 2-4 years of experience with Industrial machine operation maintenance preferred.

· General knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet navigation preferred.

· An ability to multi-task with high priority projects, in addition to normal responsibilities preferred.

· Must own steel toe shoes.
