This position’s pay range is $- $ per hour!!


What You’ll Do:


  • Prepare, execute and participate in the maintenance department to service all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and avoid unexpected break downs
  • Execute on work orders for the preventive and predictive maintenance schedule demonstrating efficiency of time management
  • Support in activities that includes outside resources to assist in effective maintenance performance such as contractors, specialized equipment (i.e., crane, man-lift, etc.)
  • Proactively recognize equipment issues and initiate work requests
  • Respond to on-call requests (rotating responsibility) after-hours to meet the needs of Manufacturing/Production for critical downtime activities
  • Ability to work long hours or irregular hours as needed.
  • Participate in meetings such as process hazards analysis (PHA), management of change (MOC), incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), Joint Health Safety Committee (JHSC). As required
  • Responsible for full participation in behavioral safety for a zero incident, zero exposure, work culture. Including use of Stop Work authority, reporting safety observations, and collective participation in corrective actions.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment to PSM (Process Safety Management) standards

To be successful, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts
  • Thorough technical knowledge in the field of industrial maintenance
  • Go getter, driven, ambitious, self-starter, inquisitive, strategic
  • Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment; this may include, but is not limited to potentially lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods of time bending, crouching, stooping, rotating, climbing stairs, or any combination of the aforementioned, etc.

Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor this role is responsible for maintenance of all manufacturing machinery and equipment within the Winnfield plant site. The ideal candidate for this role excels in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple repetitive tasks. You have a strong attention to detail and are committed to producing high quality product. You also enjoy working with others to achieve team goals, but can work independently without direct supervision.
