Hand and Stone of Lake Nona is situated in an affluent area of Orlando and is an extremely busy Spa. The Lake Nona location is a Top rated Spa Nationally. It's a great place to work and we are looking for friendly Licensed Massage Therapists to join our strong positive culture. We are a locally owned and managed National Franchise Chain specializing in Massage, Facials and Hair removal services. Hand and Stone has over 500 locations across the US and Canada, the Hand & Stone brand is a leader in the membership-based spa services industry. We have a very friendly staff and management team and we are located near the Airport, come check us out.
Job Location: East Orlando, FL
Job Requirements:
- Experienced and recently graduated massage therapists welcome
- License/Certification or proof of application submission required
- Perform consecutive 50 and 80 minute massages
- Exhibit a strong desire to help others and promote the health and wellness and be able to convey the benefits of massage therapy
- Follow local and state licensing/certification laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
- Have liability insurance
- Knowledge and understanding of Swedish, Deep Tissue, & Trigger Point, Pre-Natal and Sports Massage knowledge are a plus.
- Design specific treatment plans based on client's individual needs.
- Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
- Massage Therapist Experience preferred 1 year, however new grads are welcome
- Required language: English, Spanish is a plus
- Lives and can work on the East side of Orlando - Near Airport Lake Nona Area
- Required license or certification in the state of Florida
- Job Type: Full-time or part Time, Weekends
