Qualifications: Must have a minimum of a CDA or an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and at least 2 years experience working with children. We are currently offering a $1000 sign on bonus.

Duties:

• Create and execute daily lesson plans
• Communicates with parents on a daily basis
• Complete children assessments

Examples of Work:

- Planning and implementation of weekly theme units and daily activities and projects utilizing curriculum.

- Demonstrates and communicates a genuine fondness for each child.

- Demonstrates a positive attitude in the job role and enjoys working with children in a group setting.

- Works with appropriate agency in assisting children with special needs.

- Helps children develop independence as appropriate for each child.

- Helps develop appropriate limits for children and deals with limit setting in an appropriate and safe manner.

- Administers discipline in a manner that does not demean, embarrass or humiliate the child.

- Recognizes that discipline must be appropriate according to the individual child and the infraction.

- Monitors and tracks students’ social, physical and academic progress.

- Maintains open, positive relationship with families.

- Observes strict confidentially regarding children and families.

- Develops and maintains community partnerships.

- Assists in completing all required paperwork including monthly calendar and newsletter.

- Recognizes the importance of and participates in meetings and trainings as requested.

- Stocks, prepares and maintain supplies and equipment.

Pay Frequency:

• Bi weekly or Twice monthly
