The Lead PAM Security Engineer will build, deliver, and manage solutions that enable least privilege access. You will simultaneously build technology solutions while driving user adoption of advanced IAM / PAM functions. This leadership role will play a key part in transforming Humana’s Identity and Privileged Access Management capabilities through engineering and operations of our robust product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Product ownership of PAM tools that provide vaulting, credential management, password rotation, session management, endpoint privilege, and just-in-time privilege escalation.

• Ensure operational stability and resiliency for tools at enterprise scale. Maintain product and runbook documentation to support operational and incident response activities.

• Develop comprehensive work plans, establishing priorities based on business needs and objectives, and delegation of work to engineers.

• Be an agile champion for our IAM/PAM portfolio; you will be the product owner for this space and will need to support the team’s agile transformation journey.

• Establish feedback loops with key stakeholders of our PAM products and deliver new capabilities as necessary.

• Provide thought leadership on technical direction, influencing strategy for security roadmaps, products and their implementation.

• Present implementation plans to stakeholders including senior leadership, project teams, and Change Advisory Boards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in infrastructure/network security by designing, installing, configuring, and administering IAM / PAM related solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Bravura Pass, StrongDM, Azure SSPR, Delinea/Thycotic, Centrify

• 2+ years’ experience leading large projects and/or teams responsible for delivering high quality security solutions

• Experience operating in an agile environment; bonus points for product owner experience

• Demonstrative communication skills - verbal and written. Must be able to translate complex technical topics into business-oriented concepts and convey with confidence to ensure engagement

• Understanding of SQL; experience executing queries for troubleshooting and reporting needs a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in a Technical Field

• Experience with a scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, Bash

• Technical Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Security+, MS SC900, AZ900, Network+, etc.)

• Familiarity with cloud architecture, SRE and / or DevOps procedures.

• Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
