This position reports to the SAP Technical manager with responsibilities for overall health and care of the company’s global SAP and OpenText landscape. The right candidate will have deep knowledge and experience of running OpenText solutions integrated with an SAP landscape.
This position is very hands on and will require someone that can quickly adapt to new technologies, a passion to continuously improve and ability to collaborate.
Job Responsibilities
- Technical subject matter expert of OpenText products such as: Archive server, SAP VIM, Content Suite, SAP xECM, OTDS
- Performing proactive help checks and adjustments to OpenText software.
- Troubleshooting issues related to OpenText products and connectivity with SAP
- Participate and lead upgrades & patches of OpenText products and underlying infrastructure.
- Assist business and functional teams with issues and resolutions.
- Assisting users in resolving SAP frontend issues
- Assisting in setup, maintenance and problem resolution in the SAP printing space
Qualifications - Education & Experience
- BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
- Min 5 years hands on experience in OpenText product administration
- Min 5 years hands on experience in SAP Basis administration
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven project leadership skills as demonstrated through large scale technical project implementations.
- 10+ years OpenText (Archive server, SAP VIM, Content Suite, SAP xECM, OTDS ) and SAP S/4 HANA experience.
- Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft SQL, Tomcat and IIS
- Experience with supporting SAP end users with, SAPGui, Logon pad, and printing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
- Work well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
- Strong Communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
