About the role
Responsible for PR/ PO generation to support the Maintenance Department for its parts requirement. In charge in the upkeep and organization of Parts Room. Buyer for the Department.
Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential: $28- 30 per hour
Shift/Working Hours: 1st Shift/ 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Overtime Eligible: Yes
Add Details: Depending on business demand, there will be occasional work on the weekends.
Key responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies critical spare inventory and makes necessary adjustments to safety stock levels
Creates Material Number request to introduce new parts and include in MVP/ SAP.
Performs inventory parts count and maintains accurate parts inventory.
Creates Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
Ability to monitor and maintain availability of spare parts and corresponding locations inside Parts Room to lessen equipment downtime.
Interacts with vendors in procuring parts to obtain the best price without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications and skills
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Basic computer knowledge and and skills (Word & Excel).
2. Good Communication and Organizational skills.
3. Able to cope with a fast paced manufacturing environment.
4. Team player and willing to learn/ familiarized on common industrial parts.
5. Could work flexible hours based on business needs.
6. Maintenance Buyer/Inventory Clerk or similarly related field.
