NaphCare is seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator/Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Eyman facility located in Florence, AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Processing the patient’s medication for administration
• Scanning medication into the EMR system, sorting the medication and delivering medication to the yards
• Collaborating with the pharmacies to process new, discontinued, and refill orders
• Returning excess medications, expired medications, and discontinued medications to the pharmacy
• Assessing compliance: ensuring that medication is on-hand as required, performing audits on the yards, and ensuring that upon release or going to court the patient is provided with enough medication for the continuity of care
• Reviewing existing data, collecting additional data, running reports

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least two years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a purchasing role
• General knowledge of brand to generic pharmaceutical equivalents
• Knowledge of medication is preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
• Proficiency in excel
