JOB OVERVIEW

As an Inventory Controller, you are a vital part of our operations by proactively supporting the jewelry production team, logistics team, and sales team. In this role, you must be highly organized, meticulous, and possess exceptional strategic abilities by ensuring that needed documents and reports (e.g., memos, proformas, invoices, special orders, inventory counts and reports, etc.) are accurate and updated in the system.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create memos, proformas, and invoices for day-to-day moving inventory
• Create and assign proper retail tags (item number) to each item
• Create special order documents for distributors and private clients
• Manage and reconcile daily inventory counts and report any discrepancies
• Collect cost breakdown of jewelry (gold weight/cost, diamond weight/cost, polishing cost, engraving cost, CAD cost, etc) to build the final cost and retail on new items based on the information provided by the production team
• POS control of melee diamond usage
• Keep track and record shipping and history information of items going in and out of inventory, sold items, available items, and yearly reports on physical inventory
• Coordinate with vendors and process all consigned jewelry and gemstones in the system
• Ensure all jewelry pieces are administered for a photograph
• Post and process in the system all merchandise purchases
• Create a breakdown of each invoice based on the accounting pool application and submit it to the accounts payable department for payment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Willing to work full-time and in-person
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Must have 5 years of relevant experience as an Inventory Controller/Manager in the luxury industry
• Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles and tools used specifically, POS System.
• Must be keen to details
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, any other additional language is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Inventory Control: 3 years (Required)
