HR Manager needed for a quickly growing company!


Company Profile

Global producer of engineered materials and specialty chemicals used in advanced electronics, pharmaceutical, health, renewable energy, space, and industrial applications.

HR Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $75,000.00 /annually
  • Salaried
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and supervisors (e.g., coaching, counseling, performance, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Support, develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and needs.
  • Staffing process: Being responsible for all steps of the staffing process (job postings, recruitment, onboarding).
  • Review, implement and coach managers on programs to promote employee engagement and positive employee relations including employee recognition programs.
  • Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system.
  • Ensure legal compliance to all Federal, State, and Government contracting labor laws and rules (including FMLA, EEO, affirmative action, etc).
  • Assess management on training needs for employees and leadership development.
  • Maintain pay plan (including preparing payroll for around 55 employees) and benefits program (medical, dental, vision, disability, flexible spending, 401k, PTO, holiday, workers compensation, etc).
  • Develop and monitor overall HR procedures and local policies.
  • Headcount tracking and reporting.


HR Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Human Resources
  • 5+ years experience in an HR related function
  • Experience in preparing payroll
  • Experience with FMLA and EEO
  • Good knowledge of USA and Utah labor laws and regulations concerning
  • Experience with Quick Books payroll systems - preferred
  • 5+ years in affirmative action requirements related to Federal Government Contracts - preferred
