AAGI Gymnastics is looking for coaches for our intermediate to advance Gymnastics,Tumbling & Cheer program for all ages! Our coaches take our students development and goals seriously. They are confident and energetic, passing that same ambition of skill development to the athletes they coach. We aim to ignite joy through accomplishments and life long memories for all our students!

*Summer availability is required for coaching position.

Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling & Cheer classes are held on the weekdays Monday through Thursdays in the evenings (4-8 pm). Optional weekend hours include events, open gyms, clinics, parents night out, and birthday parties. This position is perfect for anyone with any relevant experience as an athlete or coach! Experience working with children is required. Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required.

All new coaches to the AAGI staff will go through a training period to learn and implement our training curriculum we have for each program level before given their own classes.

Gymnastics skills for intermediate to advanced classes include:Vault- running drills, handstands, straight jumps, and handstand flat backs. Bars- chin holds, pull-overs, casting, back hip circles, squat ons, low bar tap swings. Beam- walks, levers, jumps, handstands, side handstands, cartwheels, turns. Floor- See tumbling skills.

Tumbling skills for intermediate to advanced classes include: Standing back handspring, running roundoff back handspring, standing back tucks, running tumbling connections to back tuck or layouts, front handsprings, front tucks.

Extra hours and tips can be made working weekend events.
