Anytime Fitness is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. Industry experience is not required, but first-rate people skills and a self-motivated work ethic are. Work in a fun, upbeat atmosphere where every day is different.

A perfect applicant will live in Thomasville and be a team leader, have a passion for health and fitness, and most importantly, be a great representative of our brand. To be considered for this position, you must be a high-energy self-starter, have an extroverted personality, be a good motivator/coach, pay attention to details, and enjoy sales, marketing, and building a great culture in the club.

We will train you on the Anytime Fitness Branded Membership, PT Training & Selling Process, and how to manage an Anytime Fitness location. No high-pressure sales. This is a job where people who are interested in their health & fitness seek information from us. You ask them a series of questions to help us determine which solution we offer would best suit their needs. You explain what we offer and make a recommendation - most people like what we offer - and sign up. We expect you to professionally follow up with those who need more time to think about joining.

We pay you during your 3-month on-the-job training program that combines online learning with real-life experience. Standardized processes and checklists make day-to-day operations easy to follow. After all, details matter when it comes to delivering a quality experience to our members. By the end of the 3 months, we expect you to be able to assume responsibility for your location and we will give you the opportunity to earn more as you grow the business.

Compensation:

• $2,000 a month during 90 day training period
• $2500 a month for your next 90 days while you prove you can successfully take responsibility for the location and members
• Thereafter $3,000 and participation in an incentive scheme to help you earn more

Hours: Your hours are subject to change based on season and scheduled events.

• Mondays & Wednesdays: 10am - 2pm & 4pm-8pm
• Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10am - 3pm & 4pm-8pm
• Fridays and Saturdays: 9am - Noon

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Membership Sales — We use a proven system that helps our guests overcome their own roadblocks to starting a fitness program. When used correctly, this system doesn't feel like sales at all. You are hired to inspire.

Club Promotional Marketing — We love the creative "guerilla" type marketing. We do use traditional marketing strategies (television, radio, newspaper, direct mail, etc.), but we really prefer the creative stuff. A good understanding of how to use social media is a plus.

Community Involvement — We love being a part of the local community. There are countless opportunities to get outside the club and promote our business. We actively participate in the local community-sponsored events.

Networking / Employee Wellness — We work with a network of local and national employers and insurance companies that try to encourage their employees to lead healthier lifestyles. Making contacts is the first step—then we try to find a solution that helps everyone.

Member Experience — The most important aspect of all! Does your club rock? Do your members love you? Do they like the environment you create inside the club? Are they inspired to share their experience with friends, family, and coworkers? We pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer service and aim to make each member's and guest's experience exceptional! Do you have this effect on people?

Past Industry Experience Not Necessary but someone who uses a gym regularly is a plus.
