Role purpose

The Corporate Security Lead supports the COO & EHSS Director with oversight of all security related functions which includes but are not limited to budget and asset management, gathering, and disseminating security related information, travel monitoring for executives and employees of the company and provides support by monitoring, trouble shooting, and implementing corrective actions with all internal security applications.

This position will include directing the installation, programming and maintenance of all security hardware and software. In addition, this position will provide security project evaluation and recommendations for proposed security risk mitigation strategies, create requests for proposals (RFP) and liaison with vendors during installation as may be required. The Corporate Security Lead will also provide direction and oversight of government regulated programs for facilities and internal site security assessments. Law Enforcement and first responder liaison will also be a function of this position.

Accountabilities

• Lead a team of security professionals and effectively manage a budget and assets.
• Review both public and private sources of information and intelligence regarding topics of interest and relating to terrorism, crime, or geo-political security risk with potential impact on PRIMIENT assets and travellers. Propose recommendations to senior leadership for identified risks and risk mitigation
• Direct and oversee research as necessary to support Corporate Security Investigations and Asset Protection functions to include but not limited to Velocity reports, CCTV investigative data review
• Maintain the Corporate Security Data/Information Archive/Library
• Monitor available information sources for emerging security related technologies with potential application within Corporate Security

• Direct oversight for all internal security applications such as door group management, Velocity, Axis Management Software
• Liaise with the Internal Cyber Security Team for:
  • Resolution for potential legal issues
  • Compliance with ISIT change management process as required for managed applications and processes
• Assist with outside organizations and special projects as needed
• Liaison with potential security vendors
• Liaison with PRIMIENT Legal Department on forensic data gathering in partnership with ISIT Security

• Must be a legally authorized to work in the US and obtain security clearance for DHS as necessary
• Must successfully pass the Company background investigation
• Must have transportation to and from work on a daily basis
• Must possess technical aptitude and strong computer skills including word processing, presentation software, and email system use
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in physical and/or IT security.
• Law enforcement or military experience is preferred
• Must be physically able to perform the basic functions of standing, filing, bending, kneeling, key board operations, sitting for prolonged periods of time, and occasional travel by car and air
• Must be able to hear and speak clearly to effectively communicate with others
• Must be able to perform well in a stressful environment
• Ability to travel within North America, as required
