Job Description
  • Build relationships with guests and teach your entire staff how to build relationships
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, key community members, local governing bodies and other target constituencies to establish the restaurant in the market. Reach out programs, hand out swag packages and GCs to local businesses which should be done once a week with different Partners
  • Know and understand all profit loss centers within four walls with the goal of a minimum of 20% profit margin for your restaurant
  • Oversee the management team in regards to their control of purchase and inventory; negotiating prices and contracts, developing preferred supplier lists, evaluating usage reports, analyzing variances and taking corrective actions
  • Review P&Ls weekly and collaborate with the Partners to ensure compliance with expectations
  • Review sales trends, profit goals and spending with financial team – and create solutions for increased revenue and reduced spending
  • Regularly review corporate and restaurant-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) – and ensure that your team is continuously learning and teaching other
  • Always be developing strong management teams by providing ongoing coaching and training for your managers with the goal of replacing yourself
  • Continuing to recruit exceptional staff members at all levels of the restaurant and ensure they’re properly trained to execute their job duties above expectations
  • Lead and actively participate in weekly ops meetings
  • Run pre-shift meetings with great aplomb
  • Work with the Executive Chef and chef team to guarantee food quality and 100% guest satisfaction by auditing menu items and communicating often with guests during service
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation and safety standards and procedures to prevent any and all workers comp issues
  • Respond quickly to guest complaints and requests in a friendly and professional manner. Consistently following up to ensure guest satisfaction that meets and exceeds our hospitality standards
  • Resolve any staff issues by including partners and HRs as needed
  • Maintain company and train company principles throughout your tenure
  • Other tasks as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table
  • 4+ years of restaurant management experience
  • High end and high volume restaurant experience is preferred
  • Basic Knowledge of MS Office and common restaurant systems and software (i.e. Restaurant 365, Toast, SevenRooms, etc.) is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong passion and dedication to food, beverage, and hospitality
  • Polished, professional, and energetic approach to management
  • Ability to work well in a systems-driven environment
  • Ability to be adaptable and abide by the policies and values of the company
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.

The annual salary range for this position in California is $90,000 - $125,000 depending upon experience
