Job description

We are looking for a Front Desk Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of customer service, and helping to ensure they have a positive experience at our lodge. This position requires that you have a helpful and friendly personality, strong customer service skills, and an ability to multitask. Customer service is our top priority and we would like someone who goes the extra mile to make guests feel at home.

Responsibilities:

• Check guests in and out.
• Manage hotel and restaurant reservations made online and by phone.
• Upselling.
• Collect payments from guests and third parties.
• Greet guests and assist with their needs including, but not limited to, providing information about our accommodations and the surrounding area.
• Answer phones and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
• Serve breakfast for one hour to hotel guests on weekends.
• Maintain knowledge of local attractions and special events, including those of our sister properties.
• Report all guest concerns to the manager.
• Print reports and assign rooms to housekeepers.
• Perform general office duties, gift shop sales, and handle wine club member pick-ups.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-presented and professional appearance.
• Ability to learn on the job.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Weekends a must.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks.
• Serve wine in the tasting room in the absence of a server. Will train.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
