About The Position

Seeking an outgoing candidate who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys working with a group of employees that are focused on delivering a quality product to our customers. The incumbent is responsible for assisting in all aspects of employee safety.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage incident via in-house incident reporting system and perform investigations, recommend actions and follow up on matters arising from these activities.
• Inspect workplace to identify hazard and risk
• Plan and perform annual internal audit as well as the support external audit when assigned
• Lead and plan Safety Induction Program for all new employees as well as developing and implementing programs to raise employees’ awareness of work risks and to help cultivate a strong safety culture within the organization
• Review and update WSH requirements in Company’s Safety Management System manual and support safety programs.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2-5 years safety experience (ramp and or employee)
• Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills, organized and detail-oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Must be able to pass 10 years airport background/security screening
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and holidays
• BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
