DISH STEWARD
POSITION DESCRIPTION

Full time (seasonal)

The Dish Steward is responsible for giving exceptional service to the members and guests through assisting culinarians with upkeep and basic sanitation of dishware, floors, food surfaces, and equipment of all food outlets at The Golf Club.

• Proper ware washing
• Floor sweeping and mopping
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, food service hallways, walk-ins, food storage areas, and equipment
• Assist as needed in food preparation
• Proper storage of cookware and dishware
• Disposal of trash
• Assist in unloading and properly storing deliveries
• Responsible for opening and/or closing checklists
• Be flexible and willing to help in all facets of the operation as directed by the managerial staff

Skills

• Attention to detail
• Having a flexible schedule. 40-hour work week and available on weekends, holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and overtime
• Comfortable with standing for long periods of time
• Ability to lift objects usually 50 lbs or less
• Ability to work in a group environment
• Willing to work in a variety of outdoor conditions throughout the season

Education/Experience

• Any persons over the age of 16

• Hourly rate: $12 – 14 + gratuities.
• Compensation package also includes team uniforms, an employee appreciation fund (end of season), scholarship opportunities, and meals while on duty.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
